You choose how to get paid in Payment Settings, and can switch at any time:
Direct PayNow — the client scans your own PayNow QR (mobile number or UEN) and pays you directly. Money lands in your bank instantly; you tap "Confirm received" to finalise the booking. No platform or processing fees.
Stripe PayNow — the client scans a Stripe-generated PayNow QR. The booking confirms automatically with no action needed from you, and SlotSync transfers your earnings to your bank within 2 business days. Stripe's fee (1.5% + SGD 0.50 per transaction) applies — in Payment Settings you choose whether you absorb it or the client does. If the client pays it, they see the full breakdown (session price + fee) before paying, so there's never a surprise total.
Either way, unpaid holds automatically release after 30 minutes so a slot never gets stuck on someone who never pays.
With Direct PayNow, no — clients pay you directly and SlotSync never touches the money. With Stripe PayNow, Stripe charges its standard processing fee (1.5% + SGD 0.50) on every transaction; SlotSync itself never adds an extra cut on top. You choose in Payment Settings whether that fee comes out of your payout or is added to the client’s total instead — either way, you end up with your full listed price.
Yes — when booking, a client can choose to repeat a session weekly or every two weeks for a fixed number of sessions. Either side can cancel the remaining sessions in a series at any time.
Both freelancers and clients can cancel a confirmed booking from their bookings list. Freelancers can also propose a new time for a booking; clients can request a reschedule, which the freelancer then confirms. Both parties get notified either way.
Yes. Every confirmed booking includes a calendar file you can add to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other calendar app that supports the standard .ics format.
All traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and sensitive credentials (like a connected PayNow account) are encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what we collect and how it's used.
From the mobile app: Account Settings → Delete account. Your login is disabled immediately and your personal data is anonymised; booking history is retained in aggregate for 90 days for the other party’s records, then permanently deleted.
